ISUCK — free browser roguelike

A from-scratch roguelike by Andre Nijman, built in the shape of The Binding of Isaac: Repentance by Edmund McMillen and Nicalis. Descend through the Basement, the Caves, the Depths and the Womb — or take the Downpour, the Mines, the Mausoleum and the Corpse instead — fighting through procedurally laid-out rooms with over seven hundred collectibles, thirty-plus playable characters, item pools, devil and angel deals, curses, challenges, transformations and hundreds of enemies and bosses.

There is no engine and there are no asset files: every sprite is drawn with canvas paths at runtime and every sound is synthesised in WebAudio. It is free, has no ads, and needs no download.

Controls: WASD to move, arrow keys to shoot, E for your active item, Q for your card or pill, Space to drop a bomb, Tab for the map, Escape to pause. A gamepad works too.

The game is rendered on a canvas. Menus use arrow keys and Enter. During a run, use W A S D to move, arrow keys to shoot, E for the active item, Q for a card or pill, Space to place a bomb, Tab for the map, and Escape to pause.
